Really nice place! So peaceful! No trash or water service. The sites are definitely not level and they are very close together. Cash $22/night. No pass discounts. Everyone was chill and respectful. Lots of great hammock trees. There’s a hiking trail about 1.6mi up road 801 from the campsite and it will take you to the top of Boreas Pass. We saw a moose in the willow field just west of the campground.
Very quiet and peaceful campground right off Boreas Pass on the Como side. There are only 15 campsites. We brought our 20 ft Winnie Drop camper with no problems on the roads. Campsites are on the smaller side, so I’d recommend this spot for tents, sprinter vans, teardrops, pop-ups, or smaller trailers under 22 ft. Lots of animals in the area including moose! It was surprisingly empty for a weekend right after Labor Day, which made it extra relaxing. Be sure to bring your own water since none is available at the campground. Every time I've been there I was the only camper. Great views and a pristine trout stream. Alpine trail hut on the way to Breck too 👍
