This private and secluded tipi is set on 16 acres of serene land along the Middle Fork of the Payette River in Garden Valley, Idaho, just an hour and fifteen minutes from Boise. Each tipi measures approximately 225 square feet and can accommodate up to six guests comfortably. There are a total of 10 tipis spread throughout the property. Three chemical toilets are conveniently located within the campground. Each site has its own solar shower, mounted cold-water shower, and a mirror. Guests must bring their own camping gear, including cookware, utensils, sleeping bags, and other essentials. Every tipi site is equipped with a firepit, grill grate, picnic bench, log benches, hammock, two-burner propane camp stove, hibachi grill, and wash basins for dishes. In the evenings, guests can gather around the firepit to roast s’mores and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river and surrounding wilderness. This is a minimalistic getaway perfect for those seeking to unplug and immerse themselves in nature. There is no electricity, but solar lighting and candle lanterns create a warm, ambient glow. Wi-Fi is available at the host’s residence, though it is limited due to the remote location.
