The space About the Property Located on 10.5 private acres, completely surrounded by over 3 million acres of national forest True off-grid cabin offering select modern comforts The cabin sits in only one of two areas in all of Colorado rated at 2.0 or less on the Bortle Scale. There is a smart telescope (link phone to take pics) for your use in the cabin. Situated at high altitude (just over 11,000 feet) — guests should plan and acclimate accordingly Water & Utilities This is a dry cabin from approx September 30-June 15 - weather dependent No potable or running water is available at the property from from approx September 30-June 15 Guests must bring all water needed for drinking, cooking, and personal use outside of those dates. Bedding & Cleaning Due to the remote location, the cabin is not cleaned between stays Guests must bring their own: Blankets Sheets Pillow cases - pillows provided Please leave the cabin as clean or cleaner than you found it Important Pre-Booking Notice (Please Read Carefully) IMPORTANT: This property is intentionally remote and designed for guests seeking solitude, adventure, and an authentic off-grid experience. It is not suitable for travelers expecting hotel-style services, daily cleaning, or on-demand utilities. There are no grocery stores within an hour, so you’ll need to bring to all with you. By booking, you acknowledge the lack of running water, high-altitude conditions, and self-sufficient nature of the stay. If you have any questions about access, amenities, or preparation, please contact us before booking—we are happy to help ensure this is the right fit for you. Due to the remote nature of the cabin and weather conditions, we are unable to refund cancellations due to weather. We will, however, offer a credit (minus any fees) for a future stay. Guest access Guests have full private access to the cabin and surrounding immediate area. No shared spaces. No interruptions. The whole area surrounding the cabin is for your use. There is NO hunting on our property or surrounding, but National Forest is 50 yards east or west of the cabin.
