Nice quiet and calm state park! Very spacious areas for picnicking and there are multiple drinking water stations available. The camping areas are also nice and the terrain is mostly flat. There is a boat access to the Mississippi river as well.
Nice and quiet park. Small, with only 2 miles to hike, terrain is easy and flat. Main campground spots seem to be well spaced out, more than your average park, and the group camp spot is in a nice location, shady, grassy and with river views.
Love the peaceful trails and the smaller wildlife.
