This was my birthday vacation. I also used to live and work here. But have been away for many years. We don't just tent we glamp. It was not very busy so we got the perfect spot to camp. My only objection was that when we booked it because you have to call for camping spots and when we checked in nobody told us that you could not have fires at your site because of the burn ban. And that was one of the things that I really wanted to do was just sit around at night with a campfire. The only thing that was open was the pool bar / restaurant. There is a happy vibe here in Sawmill. It is contagious and it comes from the employees. It is so inviting and welcoming. There's no one at the bar that it is not smiling or laughing, they enjoy their work and all the friendly faces. It is my happy place, where I can be myself and respected about it. Can't wait for all the happy activities. Just come, wink, wink 🤩
