Salmon Run Campground and Vic's Canoes, Kayaks and Tubes

Staff here is very helpful! After my visit this year, I accidentally left behind some nice prescription sunglasses. When I called the owner, she had not only found them, but offered to mail them back to me, which I am very grateful for.

Salmon Run Campground is an amazing place to get away, relax, camp, fish, cook, and enjoy amazing views of the Muskegon River. George and his wife are more than accommodating. They have a camp store with basic amenities, apparel, drinks and snacks. The campground is very clean and the sites have water and electricity. The sites are also very level. There is one dump station. I highly recommend this campground if you’re looking to stay on the west side of the state and enjoy the peaceful sound of the river and nature. We also caught a couple nice salmon while we were there.

My wife and I camped here the last week in October. The weather was perfect, trees were changing colors, and the view of the river was awesome. George and his wife were great and very helpful. The washrooms and showers were clean, and the camp store was well stocked. We will definitely return.

We love this campground and the owners so much, we chose to be seasonal lot holders! It has an up north feel while tucked way back off the main roads and along the Muskegon river. The owners keep everything very well maintained and very clean. If you haven’t been to Salmon Run I highly suggest trying it out!
