St. Lucie South Campground

Clean and quiet, the only thing is that during the day too many days trippers driving through.

very quiet right along the canal. watched fish jumping, rabbits playing and small gator out cruising this morning. close to everything but far away from it all. Fun to watch boats going thru the locks.

Nice campground but needs new remodeling on rest rooms

We really like the waterfront sites at St Lucie, it’s an amazing view from the campsite. Plus I can fish right from our site. Access to the locks was closed for construction, but normally you can watch boats going through. The sites are easy to get into and are roomy enough. A small screen room would be good to have here since the mosquitoes come out in force at dusk! There is 1 bathhouse which is old as the hills. Lots of walkers utilize the park, and someone took 4 solar lights from our site while we were gone during the day. The gate is closed at night but not locked. The campground…

Had a great stay at St. Lucie South Campground! The location is perfect—right along the river with easy access to some really good fishing in both the river and the nearby pond. The campsite itself was clean, spacious, and peaceful, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. The facilities were also well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were warm, which was definitely appreciated after a long day outside. Overall, it’s a great campground with a beautiful setting.
