Mik's place was great. Beautiful setting, easy access, and he was very responsive. It's a nice, safe neighborhood with enough privacy to be very comfortable. Be sure to enter the address into your map rather than relying on the pindrop location to get there.
What a great spot just minutes from interstate 10. Very quiet, and secluded even though the owner’s house is nearby. I would recommend and will probably stay again!

This hidden gem is ideal for desert nature enthusiasts, as the campsite is nestled in a peaceful private backcountry neighborhood surrounded by beautiful saguaros and natural desert landscaping. The host was very welcoming and available if needed. The host left a welcome goody bag at the site for us, which included water and treats. This part of Tucson is a dark-sky area, so there are no streetlights in the neighborhood, allowing you to enjoy excellent stargazing and observe wildlife activity. A nice camping spot close to town but still feels private! Got to see some coyotes and the spot was perfect for a night while passing through.
What a stunning spot in the desert. Mik was so kind, my original date had a forecast of heavy rain, and he let me move my camping day. The spot is quite close to Tucson, but even better just minutes from Saguaro National Park. The sunsets and sunrises are amazing, and I was greeted by a hot air balloon flying over in the morning.
