Don’t miss the sunrise with meandering mist rising off the valley. Large sites allow for family and group gatherings/activities, while small tucked in tent sites provide hidden nooks. Hiking trails (open in dry season only) encircle the land and allow for moderate walks throughout its mostly vertical terrain. We had the great plesure to spend 2 nights on sacred earth. And we loved it. It seemed to be out civilization. Thanks to Colin for his explanations to get there. Without him we had been lost. 😂
My husband and i had a great time camping out here this weekend. We had some new gear to try out and everything went so great! The bugs were crazy but we had a heads up so we were prepared. We had such a great time finding scorpions and we also were thrilled to find some California Newts nearby in the creek. We also found a rattlesnake. We admired from a distance without incident. We heard some pretty wild noises and it was exciting trying to figure out what it could be. We give this place a 10/10 and we will be back!
We had a great time spending the weekend at SER! It’s a bit of a trek into the woods but that allows for the lovely immersion in nature, and the hosts gave great detailed driving instructions so it was no problem.
Great campsite! The directions to the property were straightforward and the drive was beautiful. We really loved how scenic and quiet the property was, and I highly recommend the group site! We wish there was an animal-proof container for food/coolers/portable stoves so we didn’t have to load everything back into our car at night, but it wasn’t a big issue for us.
T4 is above the rest of the campsites and felt very private. Great level space for our 10’ x 10’ Kodiak tent.
