Rural Ranch & Petting Farm

About Rural Ranch & Petting Farm
Harmony Acres is a small, relaxed family farm in the high desert near the red rocks of Sedona, AZ. We love to host nature and animal loving people that want a taste of country life. Our guests often become our good friends. We have the friendliest farm animals that you can meet and greet, and you can help around the farm if you want to participate or learn. Our sunsets and night star-gazing are just spectacular and we're enough off the beaten path that there's no crowds or traffic to deal with, but you are close to dining and area attractions. This is a quiet, rural neighborhood and a peaceful farm that borders the National Forest for easy hiking and few neighbors. The farm animals do cluck, crow, whinny, neigh, baa, bleat, squeal, and oink at various times, including early morning. There is one mile of a somewhat bumpy gravel road with hills to reach our neighborhood, so please make sure you are ready for that and have adequate towing power. The nearest services and dining are 5 minutes away. We are about 25-30 minutes to Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek, and the popular red rock hiking sites. There are many wineries and dining right down the road to enjoy. 1 hour to Flagstaff, 2 hours to Phoenix. Come enjoy a taste of rural Arizona!

This spot was ideal for a one-night stop on my way to Sedona. All of the animals are very calm and friendly with people, especially the horses. The view of the mountains and stars is really beautiful. Holly and her family are very kind and welcoming, and also allow visitors their own space. I stayed at Sunset camp which is a patch near the gate, good for self-contained car/tent camping. Heard the roosters in the morning! Rustic and cool spot.
We had an amazing time!!! All of the animals were so much fun and Holly was amazing showing us around and sharing information!
We love Holly! She is a wonderful person and spending time with her and her animals was very therapeutic! The rabbits are to die for!😍 That being said, we were looking for open and free land and to be out there in nature and the photos of the land gave us the impression that that is what we were signing up for. We had camped at an open park the night before and thoroughly enjoyed it. When we arrived at her property we had to park at the gate in her front yard and felt confined to her home space. The open space in the photos was for her horses and other animals. Which don't get me wrong, we e…
Holly was awesome and the farm was a beautiful getaway with lots of friendly animals and a spectacular night sky. Highly recommend. Make sure to try some of her fresh eggs, homemade jam and pickled treats, they’re delicious!
Increíble experience. Only stayed one night, but highlights included the majestic Zeus, a friendly farm dog, errant pigs running around, baby goats and sheep, and a turkey named Diamond that wanted a pet. Our host was gracious and helpful, and was so warm and friendly to our 5 year old son. Highly recommend.
