Rudds Creek Campground

We love it cant wait to go back in the end of August we are here in october last week of the season still our favorite place

The friendly and helpful hosts help make Rudds Creek a great experience. Being late in the season, we were able to secure reservations for five nights, moving after the first two nights. Both sites were waterfront, and plenty long enough for our 45’ motorhome and toad. The dump station was well located and accessible entering and exiting the Park.

Rudd’s Creek Campground – Boydton, VA My husband and I decided to take our daughter(18) camping over Columbus Day weekend for two nights, and we chose Rudd’s Creek Campground in Virginia. As first-time visitors from Florida, we didn’t know what to expect—but we were pleasantly surprised. The campground is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and even though there was a government shutdown at the time, there were still attendants at the entrance. Great family campground. Bring a boat/pontoon and have fun on the water also . And there is a play ground for small ones

Rudds Creek Campground was an amazing place to camp. Our site was clean upon arrival, and despite the campground being full, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. All sites are close to the water, and we were fortunate to have a waterfront spot. We tent camped, and the bathrooms were well placed throughout the campground, always clean, and easy to access. The staff was kind, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Truly the perfect camping experience.
