Great park. Forested camp sites, decently spaced. Great hiking trails. Small lake with paddleboats. Friendly staff.
Was a quite weekend, very few cabins were rented, hiked to the lake and to the cave. Was not expecting the nature center, if it had been warmer weather, would have taken a swim. Overall good experience.
My family recently stayed at this state park. Some camped, some RV camped and some stayed in cabins. Everyone seemed to enjoy everything about their stay. The cabin I stayed in was very nice and clean. It was the perfect size for my little family. We had a full kitchen (except dishwasher), a dining table, pullout couch and two rocking chairs, a queen size bed and a nice sized bathroom. Outside We had a picnic table and a fire pit with 6 chairs. We used the fire pit each evening. We enjoyed exploring the park and enjoying the scenery. We wanted to fish, but didn't have enough time.
