Camp host was very nice and helpful. Campground was quiet. We pulled in when it was dark and in the morning what a surprise it was to see that there was a river just a few feet away!
First, our plans changed a few days before arrival. Uncle to cancel b/c host never answered a phone after repeated calls. We even pulled into the park as we went by to contact them. (For some reason you can’t cancel on the app) No response to door knock on host camper either. Second, A lot of permanent RVs and not a good vibe. If it was 2 guys on a roadtrip, it would probably pass, but definitely not with young kids.
Given a spot right on the river, I enjoyed what felt like a private spot. The bathrooms were clean and always smelled nice. The laundry machines were very useful and at $2 a load, very reasonable.
