We had a very nice site. Bathroom/showers were very clean and private. Friendly staff.
Making online res was no problem, but then you have to call them the day before to pre-reg. I called three times before I got someone. They assign you a spot on arrival. We were charged for peak season in late April, not even warm enough to swim yet. I paid extra for a premium site: it was at the corner of two streets, one street a truck length from our sleeping heads (our truck was in the street to unhitch), and a major sitework construction project on the other street with non-stop beeping equipment and trucks dumping, starting at 7:15am, every day we were there. At least we weren't on the …
Great campground. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Bathrooms were clean, swimming pool was nice, and our dogs LOVED the big dog park. Our only wish was that dogs were allowed on Tybee Island beaches.
Staff is wonderful and courteous. We love this campground.
So loved the park. So much biking and great weather. If camping bring kitty food for very friendly feral cats.
