Learn more about this land: Our private camp is located riverside on the South Fork of the American River. Our sites are located next to the river under shady oak trees. You'll have a private place to relax and swim at the river. The river is swift but we have a few calm pools in front of our resort to wade and float in. We have modern restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers for your use. We can accommodate large groups in site 1 and we have smaller private camp sites 2 and 3 as well. Our Yurt is located on a bluff overlooking the river. The yurt can accommodate 2 adults. Please bring your own bedding, towels and other items. We have a kitchen area available to large groups and special events for an extra charge. We provide a picnic table and trash can for each private campsite. Wood fires or charcoal cooking are not allowed after July 1 due to fire danger. You may bring a small gas stove or propane grill to do simple cooking. There are several places to eat within a short walk from our campground. We do not allow cars to drive down to the campsites in order to keep the sites pristine. Cars are allowed to park in our main area in our private camp and carts are provided for the short walk to our camp sites. We allow friendly and well behaved dogs to camp with us.

Beautiful site nestled under the trees, and with a fantastic view of the river. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We will for sure be back!
Mike is a wonderful host! An added bonus is Brody, the cutest camp dog ever. The area is well maintained and gorgeous. Great river access with chairs and umbrellas. It’s close enough to walk to a local brewery if you don’t want to cook. Would come and again and highly recommend!
Mike’s land is literally goals. Had a group of 25 of us and had alot of space within a walking distance to the river. The showers and toilets are super clean, which was a big plus. Mike is very understanding and easy to communicate with! And his dog roams around the property which everyone enjoyed.
