The mountain in the background provided beautiful scenery, and our campsite was next to the creek. We will definitely be back. The office staff was kind and helpful.
We stay here every year for our “Friendsgiving” Great park, very clean and well kept. Sites are level with full hook ups. Please follow the directions on their website for big rig access. Well located for visiting the local area around Hiawassee.
I called 2 weeks in advance to cancel a portion of our reservation. They told me no problem. Unfortunately I had to cancel the last portion of our stay but only gave them a 6 day cancellation notice. They refused to return my $ deposit or even half of the deposit. It's a campground not a 5 star resort and I understand that but don't agree on them not even returning half the deposit. It's not even about the amount but ....we have been going there for years.
Beautiful campground. Clean and an awesome staff.
