Take a twisty state road west out of Golden, CO to find this campground in Goöden Gaze Canyon State Park. Sitting at about 9,000‘ elevation it seems quite remote despite being close to the Denver metro area. Forested area, many RV and tent spots. If you come with a big rig try to reserve a pull through site as some of the back in sites are a little short and trees obstruct access. Our site was electric only though potable water and a dump station are near the campground entrance. Overlook nearby with beautiful views (see photo).
