Red Gate Farms - RV Resort

Beautiful! Good staff and very clean. Close to Savannah. I highly recommend it!

Limited RV sites, but quite. Picnic tables weathered and in need of repair. Don’t recommend taking the shuttle to the Old Town Trolley. We were told to be at the campground shuttle pickup at 8:45, and the shuttle did not arrive until 9:30. We had 16 people waiting, several folks called the trolly office as well as the campground office only to be told ‘they’re on their way’. Same on the return. RV park flyer states ‘Trolly Drop Off: 4:00 PM’, however we didn’t get picked up downtown until after 4:30 and didn’t arrive to the campground until 5:15’ish. We had a two night stay here and it was perfect. Beautiful grounds and friendly people! So close to historic district and great walking / horse trails. You will definitely be happy you chose this campground!

We booked a 4 night stay at Red Gate Farms to enjoy Savannah. Loved that the City Hop On Off Trolley picked you up at the campground so we did not have to deal with driving our small RV downtown. Although the downtown Visitor Center does have RV parking if you did choose to drive downtown. The campground had a family feel, so clean, services that we have never experienced such as, you leave your trash bag out in front of your campsite by 9am and they drive by and pick it up.
