It;s the kind of place you want to mark as 1 star so people don't go! We only spent 2 nights on our way thru the states and wish we had spent longer. Quiet, clean, and amazing scenery. Unfortunately the water taps weren't working when we were there, otherwise zero issues. I'm sure it is busy in warmer months but we had great weather in January. We hope to return on our way back through.
This has to be the worst design for a recreation area I've ever seen. There are hundreds of day users but the only toilet is in the campground, right next to the site we rented. We ended up in site 7 and I would discourage you from booking that one if you must stay here. Two of the most popular trails start in site 7 and people are constantly walking through your site, (even after we parked sideways to block the drive entirely, they continued to cut through) asking directions, yelling, crying and carrying on towing their huge family of infants, toddlers and whining brats up the trail to see th…
very delightful place to camp. Most of the sites are uneven, so you will need to bring blocks in order to level your RV.
