This was a very pleasant surprise on our cross country trip. Heading east but stayed o. The west bound side. The camp host was great! Site was level and definitely big enough for our 10x10 tent. Could use more bear boxes but it isn't an issue if you are smart about things. Might even stop on our back home.
Only reason for 4 not 5 stars is because of the highway noise. Nice mostly level sites with tables and fire ring. Bathrooms and camp areas are super clean. We stayed the end of July and were thankful for the shade of the tall pines. $15 p/n but if you use your America the beautiful or (Interagency pass it's only $7.50 p/n. Also has RV dump, potable water and cleaning water. Nice little benefit, you also get 5 pieces of wood per site, per day...FREE
Found this place almost by accident. Ibwas able to find a first come first serve pull through! Helpful staff, super pretty trail nearby, and it smells amazing!
