This spacious, open-design vacation cottage boasts a comfortable bedroom with a luxury, queen-size bed. Guests can view the nearby river from the main room and the kitchenette, and the location ensures a strong cross-breeze with no need for air conditioning. There is a ceiling fan, however, if it is necessary to further cool the cottage. If guests need to stock the kitchenette, they’ll find several of Kapaa’s markets less than a five-minute drive from the property. There is also a small patio area in the garden just outside the front door—perfect for dining alfresco while enjoying the view. For entertainment, there is a television with an HDMI cable, should glampers wish to indulge in a movie marathon. An iPhone dock with speaker, Wi-Fi, and unlimited calls to the USA and Canada are also provided. This cottage also has basic toiletries in the bathroom, a hairdryer, and an iron and board. From 12/15/2015 to 03/31/2016 the rate for Canal Cottage A is $175 per night, From 04/01/2016 to 12/15/2016 the rate for Canal Cottage A is $150 per night, There is a one time cleaning fee of $100. The beach is a five-minute walk from the property, via a path that goes under the bridge. The hosts have coolers, chairs, mats, umbrellas, boogie boards and fins for those who wish swim with the fish, or explore the lazy river. There are also plastic beach toys for kids. Spend a lazy afternoon paddling down the Wailua River in the complimentary two-person kayak, or take the “his and her” bikes on a picnic to nearby Lydgate Beach. Glampers will also find plenty to love in the private garden. Stroll barefoot across the lawn and pluck mangoes, star fruits, oranges, mountain apples for breakfast from the trees. There is on-site parking for guests.
