2 reason I didn't give a 5 star review. 1 no sewer hookups. Not entirely there fault due to being right on the river. 2 the hot water in the showers dont last even 5 minutes. Other than that the people there are very courteous and willing to help out in anyway they can. Facilities are always clean and smelling good and the view is spectacular. Can fish right off there docks they have or just walk right into it. Beautiful resort. Little pricey weekly but makes up for all the amenities.
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, Provo River Resort is the place to be. Our site had a great view of the Provo River and the mountains. We had the opportunity to meet the resort owner; an amazing person! And the office staff were very friendly. A true hidden gem for anyone. We already made reservations to be back the first week of June.
Provo River Resort is a special place. It’s a dream camping experience. It’s tucked away in Provo canyon with beautiful riverfront campsites. The entire campground is spotless and the camp hosts couldn’t be friendlier. If you’re looking for a dreamy place to spend a few days, this is your spot!
We had a wonderful stay at Provo River Resort! We came with friends in our RV, and everything was just perfect. The kids loved the playground and spent so much time playing there, which gave us a chance to relax. We really enjoyed sitting in the shade of the trees, taking in the beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. It was a great place to unwind and spend quality time together. We will definitely be back!
Do I dare share this hidden gem!! YES I have too! All the sites & roads are really well maintained, next to the river for incredible fly fishing. With all that said we did not camp this time, but 3 other family members did and they are ecstatic to return. We did just stay the day. Here is our story. My son is cognitively disabled, but high functioning. All he wants to do in life is FISH!!! They gave me a day pass for a site 21 at a VERY discounted price so that I could be near my sister and her kids and still a very close eye on my son. The day could not have gone any better, with great succes…
