Private lake on 100 acre forest

This camp was amazing. A few dads brought our sons for a fathers day camping trip and Mr Denham was an amazing host. From checking in on us to preparing the campsite and amenities, the experience was 11/10. The geographic makeup of the campground downwind from the pond kept the camp 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the forest. The toilet were spotless. The bbq was very nice. My 8 year old son fell in love with camping this weekend. After the sun went down, the camp ground cooled off. The fire pit was smokeless and very warm. The camping spot was absolutely amazing! There’s a beautiful lake where you can swim and take out a boat, plus plenty of hiking trails and road trails all around. Joseph, the host, is an absolute legend—so helpful, attentive, and truly the best host I’ve ever met. I highly recommend booking this place. Don’t overthink it—you’ll be amazed!

Tucked away at 4,600 feet this 100 acre private ranch is an absolute gem for family and friends looking to escape the city. Our kids went fishing crazy catching so many bluegill and a few bass (its catch and release)... Great BBQ/outdoor kitchen facilities with both gas an charcoal grills perfect for group meals. And there are plenty of camping spots. It was fun exploring around around the lake and property. This place is more than just a campsite its a whole private lakeside camping experience!

It was a great spot! Less than a hour from Fresno but felt like you were in your own world!! Kids caught fish and had a blast fishing, swimming, and canoeing! The lake is awesome and the shade structure on the dock was perfect. Had a deer come down to lake to drink. The whole camp is set up great and with the BBQ and wood burning "Sphere" it was just perfect. Took an entire Athletic Club here for a Team Retreat. Needless to say all 20 athletes loved camping here on Joseph’s Land. The private little lake, the shade provided by the trees, the amount of area to set up tents and camps, it was all absolutely perfect. The kids were over the moon when they saw the complimentary canoes and kayaks, and spend the majority of their 3 days fishing for Blue Gill and Bass (successfully I might add). I took a chance reserving this camp last minute after my original group camping plans fell through due to the Garnet Fire. Joe's camp instantly proved to be the best outcome for the weekend. There were about 20 people in our group and there's more than enough space to pitch a tent or car camp. There are clean bathrooms, a large outdoor kitchen area, picnic tables everywhere, a huge fire pit, and plenty of kayaks/floats to hang out on the lake.
