We arrived on a Friday and stayed through Monday. The park can be very busy due to the boat launch on the site, but it still felt peaceful and was very quiet during the night. All the staff we interacted with were really friendly and helpful, and they take very good care of the facilities. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well stocked. They even stopped by to let us know they were going to use a leaf blower at the site next to ours, which we appreciated. One item of note, the bugs were pretty bad during our visit. Just something to be prepared for.
Fun camping, fishing, and boating opportunities! The shoreline was not very swimmer friendly, but we enjoyed paddle boarding around near the park. The playground was great for my kids (ages 1-7)
Great if you have a boat and enjoy fishing on it. Otherwise nothing.
