Postcard Cabins Shenandoah, Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy

Spent 2 nights there. Loved the the location and the cabin. Pillows left a lot to be desired but it was a pleasant stay. Would definitely go back again.

I was beyond disappointed with my stay. My cabin was infested with stink bugs, ants and spiders. I could not sleep at all because I was constantly killing bugs , I dozed off for about 20 minutes but was awaken by a spider crawling on me. I had to toss my food because once I started eating a stink bug landed on my food. I had to end my trip early because I could not stay in that cabin once it got a little lighter outside I left I couldn’t shower and had to cancel my plans for the next day because I could not properly rest. There were insects all over inside the cabin and it smelled awful. I ended up getting sick and left early.

The cabin is cute and very Instagram worthy. The design is clean, modern, and cozy. It’s definitely aesthetically pleasing. That said, in the winter it didn’t feel like much of a true getaway. Once the leaves are gone, you can clearly see the neighboring cabins and they’re closer together than expected. Privacy felt limited, which took away from the secluded cabin experience we were hoping for. If you’re visiting during warmer months when the trees are full, it might feel more private. Overall, nice stay. just not as secluded as it looks in photos.
