Ponderosa is right in town, yet a spacious park. As the town doesn't really open till mid May, the park was not in full swing. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.
It was very nice and beautiful but it was so cold I hate the cold. Camp ground was great beautiful view
Wir hatten eine Blockhütte gemietet. Der Platz darin war sehr spärlich, aber wir waren nur 1 Nacht hier. Dafür akzeptabel. Die Lage und Umgebung sind sehr schön
The folks at the Ponderosa Campground run a wonderful campground. It is large, clean, and incredibly easy to park and camp in. The front office staff could not have been nicer and accommodating. The views of the distant mountains in the morning were beautiful. It is an easy walk to the museum and downtown. The spots are not all perfectly level and we did have some issues leveling. Otherwise would highly reccomend
Have stayed here 4 times and have not been disappointed. Great showers and tenting location - loved the lower valley area. Used the Teepees once and was a great experience. Right within walking distance of so many things. Came for July 4th and enjoyed all the attractions Cody provided
