We camped at the park this weekend and were having a great time until our interaction with the park host. We had our pontoon tied to the dock off to the side and were on the boat fishing. The park host approached us and, while pointing at a sign that only faces the land (not the water), said, “Can you not read?” We immediately moved our boat to the beach once we understood the issue. The sign is not visible from the water, and we had absolutely no intention of breaking any rules. Our concern is with how the situation was handled. Hands down our favorite place to go horse camping!! Nice big parking spots, all hook ups, right on the lake, the horses have actual pens, not just a high line and the trails are the best!! We've spent our last 2 wedding anniversaries here and will be back as much as we can!
