This is one of my Top-5 Campgrounds now. The atmosphere, the surrounding mountains, and the trees were relaxing. We were minutes away from the Pisgah Forest entrance, and we enjoyed trails and waterfalls. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The park was very clean and easy to navigate. I give it an A+ Recommendation.
The place is super nice! The camp host was as well very nice and helpful. A great location for sure. They as well offer high speed WiFi, free drinks & snacks at the welcome center along with free printer service. Oh and did I mention the free bike wash area, a garden you can pick fresh items from and a nice dog park! The only thing I would truly add would be a wash house to do laundry. I think that would make them even more appealing. But, if not this place is still a great spot to park for a day or a week like us. Highly recommended.
My wife and I stayed at Pisgah Forest RV Park for three nights in late April 2026 and was very impressed with the campground. This was our first time exploring the area and the campground was perfectly located to explore Brevard, Hendersonville, Dupont State Recreational Forest and the Carl Sandburg Home in Flat Rock. We met Pam, the Camp Host, on one of her rounds through the park. She was very informative and helpful, and invited us to the Saturday morning get-together for coffee and donuts at the visitor center.
