Pioneer RV Resort - 55 plus Community

Edited by me. So we contacted them like they said to, now this year they are not accepting RVs 20 years old. We haven't changed, last year we were 25 yo. Sent them pictures again and a nice email explaining we made friends in the park and enjoyed the activities. All we got back " we no longer accept over 20 yrs old rv's. It just as well. We come to Phoenix for doctor appts yrly and they could have counted on us each year and with our new rv we will be purchasing this year you can bet we'll never come back here. SMH What a great park! Excellent road trip stop overnight with easy access off Hwy 17, north of Phoenix with Xtra long pull thru & wide slots for our 40’ RV pulling 15’ trailer w 3 slide outs. 30/50amp, great water-pressure, compact gravel. Friendly staff; AAA rate. Nice pool, restrooms, laundry, ice. Only reason we gave 4 stars is wifi only at the e Clubhouse. However a strong 5-bar cell signal, so able to easily use our hotspot. We’ll be back!

Great resort with plenty to do. Immediate access to the beautiful Sonoran desert, close to medical, dining and shopping. Pickleball courts, swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, and dog parks. This is a very active community during the fall, winter and spring hosting Pioneer Days, Christmas Parade, and the Wash Party with live music.
