About Pinon Forest Camp
This dry camp boasts with over 4 Acres of Pinon trees throughout the property with beautiful views of the nearby hills. All 4 acres fenced in for your own enjoyment and privacy. You can walk the property and enjoy nature (please be careful while walking, we have wild cacti/succulent plants in different stages of growth). This raw land has plenty of spots to enjoy the outdoors, make a fire (use the firepit) and stargaze at night. Centrally located: The camp is only 10 minutes away from town where you can visit and enjoy the unique town, shop at various souvenir shops, or have a delicious meal at one of the restaurants and bars. Everything you need within minutes from camp. A short drive to the Grand Canyon Caverns & Williams. An hour to Kingman and Flagstaff, less than two hours to Sedona and to the Grand Canyon National Park. ATTENTION: This is a quiet neighborhood with a few neighbors close by, but far enough that you can enjoy your privacy. Please be mindful of the noise as we want our neighbors to stay happy. The camp is about 1/2 mile from the TRAIN TRACKS and it can be noisy at night while the train goes by and about 1.5 miles from FWY 40.

Pinon Forest Camp offered a simple, minimalist Hipcamp conveniently close to the colorful, small town of Seligman, Arizona. After accessing the property through a secure gate, we pulled our vehicle into the gravel parking spot and unloaded. There were no designated campsites on the property, so we were free to set up camp at will. The spot we chose was nestled within a group of trees close to a fire-pit and picnic table. The sky was open and vast, and was pleasingly illuminated during sunset. The night sky, full of stars, was a lovely compliment to the warm fire burning in the designated fire…
We enjoyed camping on Maria's land with our RV and 3 dogs. It was in a scenic area with a very private feel since we were in a fenced area of 4 acres. Our dogs enjoyed wandering around with us as there were many things for them to sniff and examine. We liked being close to town where there are a few restaurants where we had breakfast and picked up a pizza to eat later.
Minutes off 40, couple of good cafes close as well. Quiet location, we were able to run our generator all night. There's train tracks close but train sounds didn't bother us. Host very responsive. Road in is dirt/sand but we took slow and were fine. Recommend!
Great private spot! It’s just as described and Maria had amazing communication. I felt very safe here as a solo female traveler. The site was easy to find in the dark and conveniently located to i40. It’s a fantastic spot for overnight travelers passing through that I would even like to stay longer next time I’m in the area. I would absolutely recommend!
We spent a night with our RV, great experience, a safe and comfortable space easy to reach. I only remark the malfunction of the solar panel lights, bring some flashlights! Every now and then you hear the train passing nearby, if you have a light sleep I recommend earplugs. Maria was very kind and responsive, thank you!
Great primitive campsite with plenty of space to spread out and no neighbors close by. Stars were awesome for us too!
