UPDATE: Steve and I stayed the first spring wknd of 2026! Once again, we were alone in this gorgeous setting, hearing more than seeing, wild birds. I spotted two eagles soaring along side skeins of geese coming home for the season. Truly a welcome sight for these weary, wintered eyes. ~smile~ Stayed the last weekend that The Douglas Lodge was open to customers. The staff is first class! KRAMER is known throughout this campground in northern Minnesota, he almost drives himself. We camp Itasca State Park at least 6+ times a year @ We even WINTER CAMP !
