Pine Haven Venue & Lodging

We recently held our wedding at this venue and walked away with mixed feelings. There were several things we truly loved, but also some experiences that left us disappointed. Pros: Very affordable compared to many other venues Beautiful, convenient location On-site cabins available for guests, which was a huge plus Flexibility to use outside vendors for most services, which made planning much easier Cons: One of the biggest frustrations was around the complimentary kegs that were mentioned during our initial meeting before we booked. As a wedding photographer, this venue was truly a dream to capture. From the exceptional staff to the stunning location, spacious layout, and impeccable cleanliness — every detail exceeded expectations. It was an absolute joy to photograph here, and I can’t recommend this venue highly enough!

We stayed in the campgrounds for our visit to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument and Needle Highway. This campground was well maintained, and actually just beautiful . Conveniently located outside of the busy Rapid City. Very peaceful!

Only kitchen sink, so had to use that for hygiene also. Window AC/Heater was noisy.

Pine Haven was the perfect place to stay. My husband and I are traveling the Dakotas in an RV. We had planned to stay at one campground who ended up ghosting us and we had no place to stay - I reserved same day with Pine Haven and Brooke was just lovely getting us settled. The grounds are well maintained, laundry and bathrooms/showers were immaculate, sites were level and clean! There is some road noise but it was not loud by any means, actually was some nice white noise. We were able to walk over to the Gaslight for a bite as well.
