Picacho / Tucson NW KOA Journey

A very nice KOA located west of Tucson, Arizona and east of the I-10 and I-8 intersection near Casa Grande. Very close to Pacacho Peak mountain trails. Swimming pool is heated, very large room inside with seating, TV, games and book exchange. The host and owner was very friendly and accommodating. A very nice young man led us to our RV spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Level gravel sites and nice large lots. Very will priced! Also private RV spots with decks and fencing. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for welcoming us.

After several days at Picacho Peak State Park without full hookups, arriving at Picacho / Tucson NW KOA Journey felt like the kind of reset you do not fully appreciate until you need it. We arrived a bit early while the office was closed for lunch, but the large parking area out front made it easy to pull in, park, and have lunch without any stress. Once they reopened, check-in was smooth, everyone was friendly, and being escorted to our site was a great first impression. Awesome park great cabins if your driving through with no rv, ryan at the front office is exceptional great experience noce peaceful park between pecan trees.

Visited offseason. They had everything you could want and the bathrooms were wonderful. Very good customer service. Nice big dog area.

Had a few stressful months, really needed to decompress. Spent a week at the KOA in Picacho, was exactly what the doctor ordered. Thanks!
