Philadelphia / West Chester KOA Holiday

We've been staying at West Chester KOA for five years in our camper. This weekend my husband and I rented a cabin for two nights at roughly three hundred dollars per night. The cabin was just terrible. It smelled so musty, it was dirty and the TV didn't work at all. The bathroom was dark and dank. We will never stay there again, either with our camper or in the cabins. We've stayed at other KOA's and their cabins and they were all top notch. So disappointed, especially for the cost.

It is only after months of attempting to reach the management of this location, that I am choosing to publicly share my terrible experiences with this location. While there were certainly elements of this KOA location that were enjoyable, the absolutely unprofessional handling of our issues during our stay has prompted me to make this review. My family and I stayed in a glamping tent at an evening at the end of November. The tent was listed as heated, so we packed warm clothing and bedding and hoped for the best. The glamping tent had a door which zipped shut, but was broken and sewn together…

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BOOK, Once they have your $$$ they won’t give a refund if you have to cancel for any reason!

A bit tricky to access the campground from southern roads. Don’t follow the RV GPS directions which will send you down some questionable routes. Stay on embreeville road despite the restrictions of less than 25 ft length. RVs are exempt and the road is passable

Great place to camp. Sites down near the Brandywine river are awesome.
