This Lodge is an ultra-comfortable mountain log cabin retreat resting on the bank of the Wenatchee River in the Leavenworth community of Ponderosa Estates. This hand-hewn log home earns a 10 out of 10 for quality craftsmanship, enduring design, and prime riverfront location. This property has one of the best low bank riverfront settings in the entire Plain Valley. The private park-like oasis includes a stone staircase down to the sandy beach, a 6-person hot tub perched just above the water's edge. Without a doubt, many wonderful memories can be made at this one-of-a-kind riverfront retreat. This home sleeps 6, with its main floor bedroom with queen log bed and two upstairs bedrooms one with queen and the other with a set of bunk beds and twin bed. The bathroom on the main floor has a tub/shower combination and includes a washer and dryer for guest use. The second bathroom is located in an out building with private shower. The main living space invites you to gather round the gorgeous river rock propane fireplace and includes a smart TV for streaming on the local FREE FIBER WIFI.• Winter Guests: While we do our best to keep this driveway plowed and sanded, winter conditions can change rapidly and make both access to and from this driveway challenging and we cannot guarantee its condition upon your arrival at any time. We are subject to the subcontractor and the Chelan County plows who service this driveway and our county roads so please pack your patience along with following the recommendations below if you choose to book. Please be prepared along with your guests who are driving separate for this driveway during winter months as there is a steep/slope grade and when ice/snow are on the ground a 4WD/AWD vehicle with traction tires are necessary AND carrying chains is recommended. 2WD vehicles must have chains. No exceptions. Chelan County Short Term Rental (Permit #000460). Prerequisite: • Occupancy max: 6 (includes children) • Maximum allowable vehicles: 3 cars. • Outdoor Burning: Propane Firepit on site (no wood burning)
