Nestled less than a mile from the shores of Lake Michigan and just a short 5-minute drive to downtown New Buffalo, our cottage is the ideal retreat for families, girls trips, couples get away. There are many seating areas in home and yard for enjoying a book, your favorite beverage or watching the kids play. We are less than a mile to two beach accesses, and centered between New Buffalo, MI and Michigan City, IN for shopping and restaurants. Indiana Dunes Nat'l Park, Warren Dunes Sate Park, New Buffalo Public Beach, and Washington Park Beach, all within 20 minutes. Entire house and yard are accessible to guest. Tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball courts and playground are 10 minute walk. 9 Hole public golf course open in season (April - Nov.) Local transportation company info available from host. 4 miles to Silver Event Center and Four Winds Casino. Uber/LYFT not available but host has contacts for transportation companies. -Early Check In/Late Check out is available for an additional 50 dollars upon approval this is only valid 24 hours prior to your check in date if there is not a same day turn over. - There is technically only ONE bedroom. The second sleeping area is the loft. The loft has two twin beds and its own bathroom. While it is private, It is a true loft so there is no door. If you would like more pictures please feel free to ask! We have partnered with local businesses to elevate your experience while staying at our cottage. To book events during your stay please message us ASAP in order to confirm availability. The Whiskey Blonde Co. - Unique, Handcrafted and One of a Kind hats for sale, you can see them on display in the larger bedroom. You can also book a Hat Bar Party through us. This is a perfect experience for girls weekends, bachelorette parties, winery weekends and more! Absolutely NO SMOKING in the cottage. This includes Cigarettes, marijuana, hookah, etc. We are a family friendly cottage and we do not tolerate smoking inside the cottage or the porch areas. If there is any evidence of smoking in the house during your stay you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $250.
