My wife and I were road tripping our way up north from Temecula for our 26th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the Perch for couple nights and absolutely loved it. Sitting on the Perch porch overlooking the river was so relaxing. The communal bathroom was clean and convenient. Even though we braught everything we needed, the communal kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare any meal you can think of. We even figured out the puzza oven! The walk down to the river isnt bad at all and the little swimming hole keeps you out of the current. They have a whole host of water toys…

JoRo’s land was an amazing camping spot. Very flat meadow for tent, an outhouse and a shower! JoRo was really helpful with directions and questions I had, a very kind host. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful spot right above the river. The tent was cozy and felt private despite being on a share site. The bathrooms are super clean and the kitchen was stocked with cooking tools and utensils. The trail leading down to the river was fun! Definitely hoping to visit again!

This was a sweet place to lay our heads for a night. It was off our beaten path, about 30 mountain miles west of Arcata, CA. Very sweet family vibe!

The “campsite” had trash on the ground and the “toilet” was an outhouse with a plastic bucket that not only hadn’t been emptied in a long time, but also had “stuff” growing out of it. Additionally the ground was teeming with ants as there were a handful of large nests around the site. Should’ve stayed at nearby motel.
