Peek of the Mountains Campground and RV Park

If you're looking for concrete pads, a pool, and bath houses, look elsewhere. However, this is a nice little spot in the mountains out in the country with mostly full-time RVers. The owner-operators are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. We have Verizon and were able to stream here. It is very quiet and peaceful. The campground is a work in progress with more sites under construction. Roads in the CG are gravel, and so are the sites that are level-ish.

Absolutely beautiful campground! If you want to feel like you are away from it all with a gorgeous mountain view, this is your place. It’s also a short drive from many attractions and cute small towns. A Dollar General is only about 5 minutes away if you forget any necessities. The campground is very basic — the only amenities are full hookups at the sites, fire pits, and a laundry room (with a coffee maker). It’s still in the process of being developed, so we assume they are planning to add some things like a bath house in the future. We camped at the beginning of the week, not on the weekend…
