House Rules • Outdoor Fires Instruction: – Zero Tolerance Policy: Please be aware that we strictly enforce a ZERO tolerance policy for outdoor fires on the beach. To ensure everyone’s safety and the preservation of the natural environment, please adhere to this rule. • PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOES BEFORE ENTERING THE CABIN. • PLEASE USE THE HOSE ON THE DECK TO RINSE SAND FROM YOUR FEET. • Absolutely NO SMOKING OR VAPING in the cabin or garage. If you smoke outside, please dispose of butts responsibly, and do not throw in the bushes or grass. • Please keep exterior doors facing the lake locked when not in use (this prevents drafts and keeps bugs out) – Lock doors by turning handle UP (vs. down to open). You may need to push in on door as you are turning handle to make sure it fully locks. • Please be sure the Arcade Console is powered off after each use. • Please use the garbage disposal sparingly, as it is tied to the septic system. • Please empty the Dyson vacuum after each use and place back in charging dock. • Please watch bon fires closely and be sure to put them out when turning in for the night. • Rain showers can pop up quickly. Please watch the weather and close the windows if you’re leaving for the day and at the end of your stay. • Please keep patio umbrella closed when not in use. • Thermostats in each room control that area in the house. • NOTE: The home has foam construction in walls and ceiling. You may notice rather loud creaks when the temperature changes. Don’t be alarmed, it’s just the construction. • Please place trash in GFL trash cart in the garage. • Keep GFL trash cart in upper garage. This helps keep animals out of the trash • Trash pickup is Wednesday morning… Please bring GFL trash cart to the road Tuesday evening.
