First, unless you have a self-contained rig with A/C, I would not recommend camping here in the heat of the summer since there is little to no shade. That said, we really enjoyed our stay. We do not have a self-contained rig and it was HOT, but the site was clean, level and had water and electricity. We used the electricity for our fridge and had running water for our tank. Our camper does not have a toilet, so we cart our own... thank goodness. The host does have a "pit toilet" on site, but there is no door and it is in the direct sun; the view, however, is amazing. We met Ernie and we liked his sites on the Ranch he owns. We don’t have 4 wheel drive which is “recommended”. So we struggled to get to Site 3., but finally made it.
I had such a joyous and peaceful time staying here! Ernie was so accommodating and allowed the space for my dog and I to retreat in the quiet. I will definitely stay again.
This campsite is amazing! The views are beautiful, and it's the perfect space for a tent. There's a composting toilet with a view, a picnic table, and even some games. It's an incredible place to go and feel like you're far away from everything, and the sunsets are gorgeous! I highly recommend staying here.
Nice campground with beautiful view. Communication with Ernie were clear and directions too. We got the rv site with the full hookup, and honestly no complaints.
