I stayed in a cabin at this location. Overall the place was clean, felt safe, and staff was friendly. There was a crazy rain storm and it got pretty cold at night but the cabin was comfortable.
Beautiful place, great park, and friendly staff. Just don't ask for a spot in the back away from the noise. You'll be parked next to a walking path, the laundromat, and office. But we still enjoyed our stay.
This was my first stay at a KOA, and I’m genuinely torn between rating this higher for the amenities and lower for the site assignment and service, so I’m settling on 3 stars. The good: Check-in was easy, even after hours. Our packet was waiting and it was simple to find our site. The bathrooms were excellent, especially compared to typical forest service campgrounds, and the dedicated dishwashing area was very handy.
