Nothing like camping at the base of mountains! Unfortunately the wind was extreme the night I was there, and I couldn't even get my tent up. Still...the mountains and stars made up for it!
Great park for a hike or just a wander around the visitor building. Beautiful scenery all around.
Lots of good dispersed camping below the park on BLM land, I spent a week there. You do have to pay an entrance fee if you want to hike inside the park. sunsets are beautiful! I just enjoyed camping free there!
