Old Homestead Campground

Daily life in the city has a way of dragging you down without you even realizing it. Spend a week here at Old Homestead and you start to feel normal again! What an amazing little getaway. With lots of walking paths and national forest access the adventure only awaits. So if you need that recharge or just a new adventure this is your stop. Get off the buisness train and come see what Colorado really has to offer! Oh, and Mike and Lauren are fabulous!

What a great place. We stayed with a motorhome and my son with a camper for rifle season. New owners Loren and Mark have done a great job bringing this historic campground back to life. You can see the vision they have with the improvements they have done already, and there is so much potential for more. I already booked my 2026 stay for next season with them and plan to continue to stay there.

What a wonderful place! The new owners, Mike and Lauren, are doing a wonderful job at renovating and reviving this campground after it was closed for many years. I stayed one night in the camp site and one night in a cabin. The campsite was great, and it was nice to have access to a hot shower! The cabin was super cozy and warm, and had the right amount of amenities (refrigerator/freezer, hot plate for cooking, plates/cups/utensils, etc.). I look forward to returning!!!
