Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins and Campground

If you are planning a visit to the Okefenokee area, this RV park is the place to go! We are full time RV’ers and stopped here for one week while we toured the area. We have a 40 foot motorhome and tow a car so we had to choose one of their larger sites as we didn’t dolly off the car. Our site had a fire pit and picnic table with a combination of gravel and grass. We did not use the bathhouse or restaurant but the laundry room had four washers and four dryers all in good working condition. Even better, I could pay digitally. Great place to get away and still have cell service for emer. Fish pond on premises no license needed to fish, trails, and star gazing field is awesome

Nice place to stay if you want to visit the Okefenokee wildlife refuge. It’s literally across the street from the refuge entrance. Seven minutes to the place. ||Nice laundry with 8 machines. Tap your phone to pay. Their app is a pain and just did not work for me. It’s air conditioned. ||Nice people… ||Gravel and dust are a slight downside. ||Spaces are level. They are far enough apart to feel uncrowded. There is a good bit of shade. ||Nothing special, but a nice place.

We actually camped in this campground but the do have nice looking cabins as well and the location is right across from Okefenokee Adventures in the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge. Thanks campground also has a nice diner that we enjoyed having burgers. Overall a very good stay.

We’ve stayed here a couple times. Once in a basic cabin, and last week in one of the new glamping tents which was surprisingly comfy. The kids loved it as a cozy landing spot after camping inside the swamp. Campground is very well kept and the staff are wonderful. The restaurant has a good selection of food and beverage. And you can’t beat the location immediately across from the east entrance of the swamp. Will definitely be back.
