We only stayed a night passing through but it was a great night! We didn’t have a reservation and were prepared if we couldn’t get in but there were at least 3 spots right when we pulled in with electric and water. It was perfect. We picked our spot then I reserved it online on recreation.gov. It’s hard to find where to reserve just on the website so go to rec.gov and the app is even better! The place is beautiful! We are from Utah so it felt like we were back in our mountains! There are so many frogs at night! You can hear them so loud! Well we think they were frogs… maybe bugs…. And there…
We stayed in site #5 (several times now). We love this park. HOWEVER the addition of bright lights around the entire restroom/shower/laundry building is ridiculous! They not only light up the building, they light up the park (24/7)! Geez! Someone from behind a desk certainly came up with that brain storm! If I wanted to camp in the city, would've stayed home! The bathrooms are pretty clean, but very tired, in need of TLC, as well as some of the signage (broken, falling apart). They had a book lending box, that is now gone. Seems to be going downhill a little. Overall, still a nice park to stay…

Just a beautiful lake hidden gem I never knew they had a camp ground but from the bass boat it looked gorgeous
