Oak Island Campground ️

I haven’t personally stayed here but I just recently bought a rv and am boondocking down the road. I desperately needed a dump station and this place wasn’t at first able to help me out because no one was on site to assist me at that time. But went ahead and gave me permission to pull up dump and trust in me to drop 20 for the dump so I pulled up to the lot I was told and this amazing woman just happen to be by the office didn’t work there but stayed there currently. I asked for help and she didn’t even hesitate jumped right in to help this newbie out turns out I was missing a piece to connect…

It’s actually a gravel parking lot with the trailers, parked about as close to each other as possible, while still allowing room for exiting and entry from your camper. There’s no grass, no fire pit on your site, almost no trees and has an airport at one side and some sort of commercial parking lot on the other. The dog park was an area of wood chips and a bunch of stuff seemingly just thrown around inside. There was a weird elevated function area thatlookef like a demented interior designer had been set free to do his worst. About the only good things I could say about it are the bathrooms…
