Very small sites, too many spiders in the shower building. My husband said there was a homeless person in the men's restroom in the evening.
I was scared to stay here after all the reviews mentioning homeless people but I didn’t notice any of that during my stay. There is a whole homeless tent “neighborhood” right off the bike path, less than 1/2 mile away, but I didn’t see them coming into the campground and my site was right infront of the gate to the bike path. I also felt the campground was very quiet. The location is hard to beat with the beach/lake right across the path. I thought the bathrooms were clean as well. Maybe I just got lucky because it’s mid-October and the cooler weather is hindering the homeless? I would agree t…
