New River Campground and Canoe

This was our first year with the new owners. My husband started going with some of his buddies from National Guard years ago. Then it became a tradition with our family and friends for the past 20 years. For my husband's 60th birthday we rented the 2 studio apartments which have been updated (very nice and cozy) and 2 tent sights. We had an awesome time, it's always so beautiful. Great campground bathhouse was out when we were there but they compensated us and apologized deeply been going every year for a long time! 4/24/26 return review Extremely accommodating as usual! Due to not many people booking they allowed us to pick a site instead of sticking to our original reservation! We use to camp here a lot. When we had a newborn we stayed in the apartments. They were perfect for having a baby that needed to take naps. This is a family owned business and they take you on tubing or kayaking drop offs. The store is cute filled with little groceries items or things you may have forgotten to pack.
