Needles Outpost Campground

This is a stunning location!!! Right next to the Needles District and very remote and beautiful. This is a special place. We appreciated the bath house with showers! Would definitely stay here again.

During 5 weeks camping with a RV throughout many great places - this one left a special unique impression. It is not a 5* luxury RV resort, but if you are seeking for lovely hosts and a very special nature lover location its you place to be. Climbing the rocks at the back of the campground was an extra special for our two boys. All of us would have loved to stay longer.

Not a bad experience but not worth the $40 with fees. Showers weren’t included in campsite price. I’d recommend just camping in canyonlands for $15 instead.

I filled up my gas tank in Moab and used 6.5 gallons to get to the Needles outpost where I would start an eight day overlanding trip. I already had 14 gallons of extra fuel attached to my Jeep but I needed to also have a completely full fuel tank. The last thing you want to do is go back to a city just to get fuel. When I arrived at the Outpost there were folks sitting out on the front porch enjoying the afternoon.
