This is a beautiful area with hiking trails. It's easy hiking but might not be ideal for those with physical disabilities or problems ambulating as it is not a very developed path through the woods. It's not paved. And it's not wide and flat. Plenty of parking. We were there to help search for a missing woman. We did not find her. If you are out there hiking and come across anything suspicious, unusual, out of place, etc., please photograph it and contact police. Pappalardo is the woman's last name. She went missing Oct 24th (I believe) and her car was found at the entrance.
Another lovely state park, great trails with multiple short and long distance options, spots to learn about some nature, great foraging place as well !!
Great park to fish, walk, small picnic or swim. However there was no restrooms.
I love outdoors. Love it here. There could just be more parking at some of thentery points. 3-5 cars would be enough. No need to attract everyone
